DiorRob or DramaDior?

Everyday since the press conference in June, there's a new drama around the Dior's promotion.

We're gonna give our opinion on this drama, and especially on one sentence that keeps coming back. Every time someone dare say that they don't like the Dior ad, they get this as an answer: "Nobody is criticizing Kristen, and she signed for a fragrance too!"

Oh really? Comparing Kris contract and Rob's? Balenciaga and Dior?

Let's see...

Why questioning the fact that they signed for a fragrance?

It's true that both of them said multiple times that they weren't interested in signing for this type of contracts and selling themselves. Rob said it recently in an interview for Dior, in which he also said that he doesn't wear perfume and that he's using Dior for his own reputation and the future of his career.
Good for him, it can only help him right?
The problem is that, this image, he so desperately wants to get rid off since Twilight, this image that makes him scared of his fans (I'm talking about Robsessed and Robsten fans here) fantasizing over him because they think they're connected to him or can't see the limit between reality and fiction, that image is in this Dior ad.
In a Dior interview, Rob again said that he doesn't want to be someone he's not.
THAT is what is contradictory. Dior is selling Rob as someone he's not. Unless it's the real Rob, and the last 5 years were a lie? We find it hard to believe that Rob could've fooled us for so long. For us, the FauxRob is the one in the ad and the promotion around it.
For us, Dior is faux!
Let's skip the fact that they both signed to be the face of a fragrance, let's go right to the point and compare the 2 brands:
Balenciaga never wanted a fake image of Kristen. They never used her in any way or even talked about Rob. NEVER! Balenciaga contract is with Kristen. They respected her, her private life and her image. Balenciaga never had to take part in Kristen's private life in a negative way (or positive).
The fragrance, the promotion, the photo-shoot, everything matched Kristen. It's her, for who she is, beautiful and rebellious. That's what's selling the fragrance. However she's also an actress who signed for a fragrance but her integrity is there. A discrete promotion like her, no leaking of pictures, no journalists speaking badly of the man she loves, neither on twitter, in interviews or anywhere in public. NOTHING!
Results? The fragrance for which she participated from the creation to the promotion won awards and is often out of stock.

The difference with Dior?
Dior took advantage of the rumors around Rob's private life from the start! You know the one he doesn't want to talk about because he's a private man! And yet, since June, every time there's a drama a new photo leaks. Apart from this one, we've never seen so many leaked pictures and such a  buzz for a fragrance ad. Taking advantage of the buzz around the rumors to sell a fragrance? To sell a single Rob? A manwhore? Rob who so desperately wants to be respected for his talent, is accepting to sell a image of him that isn't him just because he's an actor? Why not making an ad that respects and shows Rob for who he is? Why soiling Kristen's name in interviews? Where is Rob's integrity in all that? Why showing a bare Rob when he wants people to like him for who he is and not a piece of meat?
Dior is doing it for the fans who want that. For the fans who can't stop fantasizing over every pictures of him showing some skin. For the Nonnies, the fact that he shows some skin and that he's kissing an almost naked woman is proof that he's not with Kristen anymore.
The question is not why Rob signed for Dior, but why is Rob accepting to let Dior sell a image of him that isn't correct, a image of him he's fighting against? That's what is contradictory to what he said in past interviews and in the Dior interviews. Why is Dior, chic and classy with other celebrities working for them but not with Rob.

Rob says that he doesn't want to mix private and professional life and yet he let Dior doing it?

Have you ever seen Balenciaga doing this with Kris? NEVER!
You still want to compare Kris & Rob, because they both signed to be the face of a fragrance?
You should better compare which brand is respecting their muses for who they are:
Balenciaga is respecting Kris' public image, Dior isn't respecting Rob's public image.
Balenciaga is respecting Kris' private life, Dior isn't respecting Rob's private life.
Balenciaga wants Kristen the way she is, Dior wants a Rob that isn't him.
Balenciaga never had an influence or a say in Kristen's private life, Dior is using Rob's.
Balenciaga only needs Kristen to be herself to sell the fragrance. Dior needs to create a buzz, leak pictures after negative rumors about Rob & Kris, mention Kristen in their interviews, make sexy pictures in a wet shirt with naked girls and disrespect Rob's image, to sell the fragrance. Like Rob only being himself would never be enough to sell.
You still want to compare them or are you gonna stay blind?
The people supporting Dior:
Nonnies: Because they'll fantasize even more on the photos but also because he's with another girl on them (just a reminder, Camille is in a serious relation with a man. When Rob shot that commercial, there were no rumors about him or Kris. In this ad we see actors! It is not reality, whether you like it or not!).
Some Robsten fans: Because they'll drool over Rob. They don't care if Dior respects Rob or not. The only thing that matters to them is the "ovaries explosion".
By the way, you remember what Rob said about that? That it was scary and shady...
The other Robsten fans: the ones who don't support this commercial because they can't stand to see Rob with another girl (just like for the Robsessed, remember that he's an actor, he kisses girls but it doesn't mean anything!)
For the Nonnies and these 2 groups of Robsten fans, remember what Rob said: "There's a very precise line that marks reality and fiction. If people aren't capable of distinguishing it, there's nothing I can do to explain it to them."
Then you have those who don't support this ad, we belong to that group. We don't support it because it doesn't show Rob for who he is, it doesn't respect his private life and everything he's against. We don't understand, not why he signed the contract but why he is accepting what Dior is doing to him and to his private life that he is so protective of.
It might not be his fault, but he accepted it and is still accepting it.
Who isn't respecting Rob? The ones who refuse to support a promotion disrespectful to his integrity, his image and his private life? Or the ones supporting this promotion giving them exaclty what they need to fantasize, completely disregarding him?
Next time, compare what is comparable...
